BBASE is the Black and Brown Association of Sound Engineers.  Founded in 2019, our mission is to establish a culturally relevant and culturally responsible network of supports for Black and Brown recording engineers, mixing engineers, mastering engineers, record producers, sound designers, post-production engineers, broadcast engineers, audio electronic engineers, audio technicians and audio engineering/music educators. Our organization's goal is create an interconnected web of relationships between practitioners, educators, decision makers and students (from kindergarten to graduate school), to strengthen our ability to gain, maintain and create opportunities in all fields related to audio, for people of color.

Our organization can be joined and supported by all people, regardless of race, pronoun or beliefs.
